It looks like Sony’s Vaio Laptops are on Diet that is why it has just come up with worlds lightest and thinnest notebook in the world the Vaio X Series.

Here are the specs of this piece of technology by Sony.

• Weighs – 655g ! Just 500g more than my Nokia 5800 !!
• 11.1” screen size making it Compact!
• Intel Atom Processor inside making it energy efficient and powerful
• 2 gigs of DDR2 RAM.
• Comes with Solid State Drive up to 128GB
• Integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi

 

To make this laptop thin and compact Sony has removed CD/DVD drive but nevertheless it created a slim Computer.

Vaio X Series are available from $1399.00 which is less than Macbook Air.
