Adsense Sandbox

AdSense Sandbox is an amazing tool by Digital Inspiration which helps you to know which type of Google Ads will be displayed on your blog using your keywords and geo targeting.

You just have to put your blog url or the keywords on which you want to see the related ads, you can also choose any Country if you want to filter the results by any particular location like you may choose India and then it will show only those ads targeted in India.

Google Adsense Do’s and Don’ts

Friday, December 11, 2009

Google ADsense Do's and Don'ts.. Google Adsense is one of the most healthy way of making money online with blogs and websites. Thanks to Google who is helping millions of people around the world make use of their awesome service.

If you have started using Google Adsense or already using Google Adsense then here are some small tips to help you get the best out of this great program:

  • Patience- If you are not getting enough clicks or Clicks on your ads are not changing into money then do not loose patience, as it always takes some time for a Blog to gain readership and get the maximum rate per click. The click to rate conversion depends upon the Page Impressions and unique visitors to your Blog.

  • Stop clicking on your own Ads as Google is smart enough to catch the defaulters and block their accounts if you do this daily. This makes Google watch you with a doubt and finally it may even end up in criminal penalties.

  • Never use Automated Tools for increasing your blogs CPM or clicks on Ads because Google counts this as illegal.

  • Stop asking People to click on your Advertisements. Many people write a line below the ads requesting people to click.

  • Do not form groups to click on each others ads because when simultaneous clicks come from same IP’s again and again, there is no click to rate conversion.

  • Do not put excess of Google Adsense ads on your pages as it distracts most of the visitors from visiting your blog and hence decreases the readership of your blog.

In the end I would say that let the visitors click naturally on your ads and then you would see that even small clicks leads to good rate conversions.

No More ! Google Adsense Video Units ….

Tuesday, October 27, 2009

adsense_logo The much hyped Adsense Video Units which allow Video ads to run on your blog had been shut down in April after a bad response from the audience.

I think people didn’t find them useful because they needed to be played manually. And moreover they were boring as one has to watch them like those we watch on TV! Who likes them?? arrgggghhh!!! . I feel that’s a good decision of Google as they say they want to focus on other things ..

So if you are still running them on your blogs then remove them now as they will not turn the precious clicks into money !.

You can read more about it at Google Adsense Blog …….

Understanding Ad Channels in Google AdSense

Sunday, August 3, 2008

google_smMost of you who are using AdSense & don't know what are those Ad Channels Right !! Ad Channels which you see during the setting up of an ad for your Blog or Web Site. The same question was in my mind when I started using AdSense in June 2007 last year. But I got the answer at that time & started configuring them every time I set up an ad.

Now its time for you to understand the Ad Channels in AdSense which is really a great feature of Google AdSense. First of all you should know that Ad Channels have nothing to do with ads display .

So lets understand them in a simple & a short way..

When ever you setup an ad in AdSense, Google asks you to create an ad channel for the ad. The Ad Channel you create helps you to track the performance of ads which come under the channel.

Performance of ads includes the number of clicks the ads get. Always name the ad according to the size & the location where you are going to place the ad on your blog. For example- I am going to use 468x60 ad on right top of my blog, then I would give the name to the ad like '468x60 Top Right ad' which will help me check them better.

This will give you a better idea of the location of Ads on your site where they get maximum clicked or attention. This can also help you get rid of extra unwanted ads on your blog which are just occupying your precious blog space.

I would reccomend you to first experiment & then choose where to place ads so that you get maximum profit. So by configuring ad channels you can earn big, if you follow it properly.
